Job Description: Work in a team environment to produce advanced map products using satellite imagery, utilizing a variety of commercial
geospatial software and Harris developed tools. Understand and utilize established geospatial production processes. Make recommendations for
process improvements.
Responsibilities: Apply thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, terminology and trends in remotely sensed imagery analysis.
Become a principal source of single geospatial product expertise. Support technical proposals. Support product development. Follow
established geospatial production processes. Adhere to stringent quality control guidelines. Manage work packages and provide
interface to program management.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in a Scientific or Technical discipline. Working knowledge of geospatial software tools (e.g., IMAGINE, ENVI,
IDRISI, SOCET) and remotely sensed data and image processing. Computer competency in Windows environment. Familiarity with Linux or
UNIX operating systems also helpful. Experience with vector GIS data processing is a plus, but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. U.S. Citizenship is required and candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance.
