Job Description:
Performs analysis and production tasks relative to various types of geographic products derived from the use of a GIS. With minimal supervision, takes the initiative to learn techniques and procedures for producing value-added mapping products for the US Marine Corps. Uses knowledge of geographic data sources including commercial imagery and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency data to develop final products and interface with the customer to ensure complete satisfaction. Responsible for ensuring all products and data are properly archived for future retrieval. Multi-tasks to work simultaneous projects as requirement dictates. Prepares and presents oral and written briefings as required.

Management and Program Analyst at USAID

This position will be based in USAID's Office of Natural Resource Management (NRM) in the Bureau of Economic Growth and Trade. The individual selected will work closely with the Agency's Senior GIS (Geospatial Information Technology) Adviosr to pormote the use of geospatial information technologies to support USAID's objectives in improved enivironmental management, resource governance and sustainable use.
