Keep America Beautiful Inc. Summer/Fall 2001 internships (Washington DC)

Keep America Beautiful has a summer internship stipend for one
environmental studies student.

The primary purpose of this internship includes:

- Help to create and implement a school recycling competition program
- Help to review and grant recycling bins to various entities
- Conduct research into various best management practices and create case study documents
- Mine KAB recycling data to profile participants and needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

The position(s) is open to graduate or undergraduate students with a concentration in environmental science, conservation, natural resources or other related fields. Applicants should have:

- Strong verbal and written skills
- Good organizational skills and be detail oriented
- The ability to work independently and in teams
- The ability to learn fast and follow directions
- The ability to use PCs including Microsoft Office applications.
- Be punctual
