The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) will be accepting internship applications for the summer of 2012, August 1, through October 1, 2011!
NGA interns are considered our workforce of the future!We strive to hire successful students who are enrolled in the internship program. Interns are selected and aligned to specific work roles based on their area of study. During the internship, skills and work ethics are assessed to determine the student's potential as a future full time employee with NGA. Following are the basic internship requirements for
consideration:
Minimum Requirements:
* US Citizenship
* 18 yrs or older
* Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university,
working towards a baccalaureate or graduate degree that aligns with an
NGA work role
* Able to obtain a top secret security clearance
* Have and maintain a 3.0 overall GPA on a 4.0 scale
* Commit to at least 10 consecutive weeks of work during summer break
Accepted Majors (List does not include all accepted majors)
* Accounting/Business
* Aeronautical Science
* Computer Science
* Imagery Science
* International Affairs
* National Security and Intelligence Security
* Political Science
* Physical Science
